Help plz – If you currently own a PSP[1k/2k/3k] & will buy the Vita, are you still buying umds or d/l from psn?
Does the Vita use UMD’s even or is it downloadable-only like the PSP-go? I ask because I bought both a PSP-go and a PSP-3000 but am not sure which I’ll keep. One thing is for sure though and that’s that I’ll buy the Vita when it comes out with pricedrop. So keeping this in mind and as well assuming that the Vita will only play downloadable games [and not UMD's], I guess I should just keep the PSP-go?
How do all you PSP owners purchase your games – by UMD’s or by downloading them? I also read that once you download a game off from PlayStation’s Network/Store that you can play them on up to 5 other different PSP’s? So I guess I shouldn’t keep the 3000 and just keep the GO since if I plan to buy the Vita that I’ll be able to keep my download and also be able to play the same game on the Vita [and as well as on the PSP-go]?

No the ps vita will have NVG cards and it will have downloadable games too.
I suggest you keep your psp3000.
i purchase them by UMDS mostly and just download them sometimes. i think you should put custom firmware if you dont want to buy them, but that will also affect your warranty so its up to you.

PS Vita is going to have little memory sticks with the games on them I think. It won’t have UMDs, that I know for sure. I buy UMDs just because my PSP can’t hold all those games. I don’t know if you can get your old games on the Vita, but it will have good storage and Sony announced that every game will be available digitally, so you can use it just like a GO
